WHEN BULLIES CRASH UPON YOUR LIFE, YOU STAND THE F&@ UP*

By. Dr. C.G Mcfadden

Let’s get something straight: bullies—whether schoolroom tyrants, online troll armies, or abusive partners—thrive on fear. They feed on your silence. Let them think they’ve got you curled up in a corner, broken and docile. That’s when they've won. But you? You don’t kneel. You don’t hide. You stand, fists clenched, ten toes down—even if your jaw’s shaking, your heart’s pounding.

School Bullies

Remember 16-year-old Casey Heynes? The kid who refused to be intimidated, and flaunted his resilience so boldly that Justin Bieber brought him onstage, calling him “very inspirational” for showing kids “how to stand up for what you believe in.” BET.
Then there’s the high schooler in Texas whose daughter was slapped—only to fight back—and got suspended while the bully got off scot-free. The outrage? It forced the school district to review self-defense policies because the system failed her. New York Post.

Cyber Bullies

They hide behind screens, cheap potshots at your hair, your skin, your worth. But some refuse to be silenced. Actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee did the impossible—she filed a cybercrime complaint when trolls attacked her infant son with racist vitriol. She said she “literally feel[s] like I've won a war.IndiatimesThe Times of India.

Institutional Cold Shoulders

When schools dismiss bullying as “friendship drama” while a child falls into despair—or worse—it’s not neglect. It’s moral bankruptcy. In Sydney, parents raised hell after a Year Seven student at Santa Sabina College took her own life following relentless bullying—and the school’s refusal to act. Daily Telegraph. And in South Carolina, young Kelaia Turner’s suicide attempt forced the school’s guilt and negligence into the spotlight, launching her family’s fight for justice and mental health accountability. WYFF.

The Home as a Battlefield

Bullies at home? That’s where it gets darkest. When someone uses violence or intimidation under the same roof where you should feel safest—that’s domestic abuse, plain and simple. These bullies twist family, manipulate trust, and too often walk free. But make no mistake: no one truly knows what happens behind closed doors—except God and the offender. But at the end of day, laws must—and should—tear that shelter away. If you touch a child or a woman in violence or for perverted pleasure, you deserve the full force of justice—no questions, no sympathy.

I’M NOT PROMOTING VIOLENCE… BUT…

Let me be crystal clear: I'm not out here calling for vigilantism or taking the law into your hands. But reality check: sometimes some people don’t speak any language other than force. When the courts turn a blind eye and offenders are set loose to reoffend, we have to ask: When do the courts stop working—and our survival instincts kick in?

Is that fair to ask? Hell yes. Should you even think about it? Of course, you should—and you should ask it when the system fails again. Because history shows us: those bullies? They will cross the line again—until they finally get caught or stopped. And if that system continues to fail? Your anger, your stand, your refusal to back down—it isn’t just justified. It’s inevitable.

WHAT I THINK…

I think the real power isn’t in your fists—it’s in your refusal to be crushed. It’s in naming what’s happening, raging against injustice, demanding accountability. Schools, courts, institutions—they must evolve, or they must be exposed. Bullies—from trolls to abusive partners—don’t go away because you’re nice. They go away because you refuse to let them sit on your dignity—and you demand that the world sees that.

It’s not the easiest path. It’s not always safe. But if you don’t stand now, when will you? Because if you don’t—someone else will. And maybe, just maybe—they’re not strong enough to fight back.

YOUR TURN

What do you think? Is it fair to question whether our hands should remain in the sand while predators walk free? When courts fail to stop cycles of abuse, is standing up our only option? I want to hear your rage, your resolve, your experience.
